About Play Green Events
Hello Fellow Recyclers,
The idea of Play Green was first conceptualized last
year with an old friend of mine to bring about a greener
and more eco-friendly feel to disc golf and all of it’s
numerous parks as well as tournaments. Since then the
idea has expanded quite a bit to bringing recycling to
many other areas such as the many benefit walks-runs-rides,
catered events, cooperate functions, volleyball tournaments,
softball leagues and other sporting functions throughout the
greater Denver Metro area, that otherwise would not have recycling.
As well as offering an easy and convenient recycling
eco-option to these areas in Denver, Play Green is also
dedicated to offering recycling to commercial offices and
small businesses that would like a cheaper friendlier
alternative than the big guys on the block. We are
currently actively signing up new companies as well
that would have otherwise not recycled by offering
recyclable pick up services throughout Denver. Currently
I am guaranteeing cheaper rates than the big guys.
Generally speaking, Play Green is a new company with many
options of expansion. We feel that the non-profit sector may
be an option in the future but for now it is our intension to
start on the local level to make a difference one recycled item
at a time. We will be offering Play Green Pledge (pledge button)
packages which will consist of T-shirts, hats, car recycling bags,
and other cool items. Please join in our efforts and pick one
up today. We would also love to hear from you (contact us)
should you have new ideas or events in which you believe our
service is needed. We know we can’t get all sporting events
and corporate functions but a few will be a great start.
So, as you can see, Play Green is working on numerous
fronts to offer and increase green efforts and options in
Denver Colorado for recycling and a generally more eco-friendly
state. In time we hope to expand as a company not only in the
recycling services but also to increase overall awareness and
involvement in the many environmental issues facing our state
and country such as energy (gas, coal), forestry and logging,
open space, rivers, wildlife and oceans. The site offers many
different links for you, the public, as resources to get more
involved on local, state and federal levels. We hope you make
use of them.
