Disc Golf
We are proud to announce that the Birds Nest Disc Golf Course will be the first Disc Golf Park
in Colorado to promote year-round recycling. Their efforts will bring a refreshing spirit of “being green” and
“playing green”, in areas of both work and pleasure.
Implementing Recycling
|
These are our Areas of Focus for Recycling:
- Expo Disc Golf Park and Recreation Center
- Johnny Roberts Memorial Disc Golf Park in Arvada
- Lighthouse Disc Golf Course at David A Lorenz Regional in Centennial
- Westminster Disc Golf
We are reaching out to developers of the new all green courses, as well as other Front Range, Mountain and Western Slope Disc Golf courses and tournaments.
Play Green Disc Golf offers a change to the way this great sport is viewed in Colorado. We look to increase our focus constantly throughout Colorado and its many courses encouraging recycling as well as no-trace policies at all.
We believe any litter such as cigarette butts is in direct opposition to the reason we all love this sport and the great outdoors. We are a community and the more responsible the better.

We hope to make as many Colorado tournaments as possible in years to come and would love to expand our idea to other states as well as Disc Golf Clubs around the country. Contct us right away if interested.
We would like to thank both Mile Hi Disc Golf (www.milehighdiscgolf.org) and Disc Golf Club Of Denver (www.badcodisc.com) for their encouragement, fresh ideas and assistance in our efforts.
In the near future we are seeking to build and develop the New All Green, Play Green Disc Golf Course. Take the Play Green Pledge, become a member and your money will go toward this and other positive Disc Golf Green endeavors.
Please do your part. Be active as well as responsible.
If you know of a course or tournaments that you would like recycling at please let us know.
